The "homeowner" team appears in dark sweaters, the "away" team appears in light
sweaters to play. The "owner" team of the field is the one whose name is first placed
on the calendar published in the tournament schedule.
Each match consists of 3 periods with a door change, 17 minutes each (the timing is
rough).
It takes 2 minutes to remove a player, and for more rough breaches players are
removed by referees in accordance with IIHF international rules.
An hour is allocated for each match:
- roll – 5 minutes;
- greetings – 1 minute;
-1st period – 17 minutes;
- break/time out – 1 minute;
- 2nd period – 17 minutes;
- break/time out –1 minute;
- 3 period – 17 minutes;
- handshaking – 1 minute.
The tournament is refereed by invited international category judges from different countries in accordance with the international rules of judging of the IIHF.
Each team of the tournament is equipped with a separate dressing room with shower
and toilet, fruit, water, first aid kit. Every match will be attended by a medical professional.
After each playing day, each team is served delicious cold beer.
Contact and snaps are prohibited in order to avoid injuries during tournament games.
Each team is entitled to a timeout of 30 seconds.
If there is a difference in the score at the end of the match by one or two goals, the
last two minutes of the match are net time.
